Santorini is famous for its iconic white washed buildings, blue churches, and the Caldera, which offers breathtaking views. There is also a very distinct perspective of the island.
Santorini is a volcanic island, and the volcano is only a few miles away from the caldera, making it visible from the entire front side of the island.
Its black colour is breathtaking and causes you to freeze for a moment when you first see it. The volcano can be reached by boat, and there is also a small marina and a couple of churches there. So, what else do you need for a one-of-a-kind and breathtaking setting for a wedding in Santorini?
Working as a photographer in Santorini and the Greek Islands, I was always finding it difficult to work on different projects and look at obvious things in new ways.
That’s what we aimed for with the team when we staged this inspirational bridal shoot on the actual volcano: to see Santorini from a different angle.
What else do you need for the ideal volcanic shoot in Santorini?
To complement the shoot, a bride, a black gown, a Riva boat, and some gold and organic details were used.
I hope you enjoy the shoot as much as I do!

Special thanks to Diamond Rock for organising and bringing all the things together.
